We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. In this role, you will serve as a clinical, quality, and patient safety expert, driving nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Develop caregivers in specific clinical areas in collaboration with clinical leaders.
- Partner with clinical leaders to serve as a resource and support caregivers to improve outcomes.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve quality and safety outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders and clinical professional development in identifying gaps and developing plans to improve professional growth, skills, and competencies.
- Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting various quality/patient safety data with a focus on using data to drive improved care outcomes and nursing practice.
- Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level.
- Aide in the analysis of research outcomes and devise strategies for their incorporation into evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
- Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership.
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross or American Heart Association accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
- Work Experience: 2 years applicable experience required. 5 years preferred.
