CannabizTeam is seeking a highly skilled Director of Cultivation to lead and oversee all aspects of our cultivation operations.

This key executive role demands a combination of horticultural expertise, operational excellence, and strong leadership capabilities to drive the cultivation strategy and manage a dynamic team.

The Director will be responsible for ensuring that the cultivation process consistently produces top-quality crops, while maintaining efficiency and strict adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the cultivation process, from cloning to harvest, including crop maintenance, staffing, and training.
  • Implement and manage cultivation controls software, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Ensure product quality control by aligning cultivation practices with customer feedback, sales trends, and marketing forecasts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to align cultivation efforts with business strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, including accurate and up-to-date production records.
  • Spearhead research and development efforts to innovate and enhance product quality and yield.
  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for cultivation equipment and facilities.
  • Manage resource allocation and budgeting, ensuring efficient distribution of tools, equipment, and materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cultivation operations, ideally within the cannabis industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of plant health, including disease management, pest control, and nutrient optimization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for effective data management and reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and cultivation management software.
