We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager Assistant to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of our nursing strategic plan and priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Support: Provide administrative support to Nurse leadership, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective coordination of staffing, throughput, and quality and safety outcomes.
- Leadership Development: Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate nursing practice and the nursing care delivery system, with direct supervision of front-line staff.
- Policy and Procedure: Interpret, support, and communicate policies, standards, and procedures to staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism and quality care.
- Special Projects: Assume special projects as assigned, demonstrating a strong sense of accountability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Clinical Experience: A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a strong focus on oncology nursing and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strong sense of accountability and a focus on delivering high-quality care and service.
- Education: BSN required, with MSN preferred.
- Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license, BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association, and national certification preferred.
