Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas, operating and maintaining equipment, and reporting any issues or concerns to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleans and disinfects assigned areas using department cleaning procedures.
- Operates and maintains assigned equipment according to established procedures.
- Reports problems with equipment and facility in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Works a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
Requirements
- Demonstrated communication skills to include reading color coded labels and chemicals as well as following written and verbal directions.
- Availability to work a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of the department.
- Preferred: Professional housekeeping experience.
