Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Aureus Medical Group - Cardiopulmonary is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team on a travel assignment in New York.

Job Summary:

This is a 16-week travel assignment with a 36-hour workweek, requiring a 12-hour shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Requirements:
  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • State License-Respiratory Therapist-New York.
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
