About the Role:

This is a hybrid, San Francisco-based role with two days in-office or in the South Bay Data Center required per week.

Monthly Sunday (10pm-2am PST) Network Maintenance Windows remotely and in Data Center are also required.

This Network Engineer (I) will join a global, mission-critical Network Operations team that provides the backbone to ensure diners and restaurants stay connected worldwide.

This individual will also ensure that multiple data centers, cloud, and office networks are available and running 24x7.

Responsibilities:

  • Support internal customer requests
  • Troubleshoot network infrastructure
  • Fix connectivity issues
  • Implement security across our current and next-generation platforms

Requirements:

  • Can identify network problems and present solutions without instruction
  • Solve complex problems with simple and elegant solutions
  • Manage several concurrent projects at a time
  • Can learn new technical skills
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and experience working with other engineering teams
  • Have strong customer relationship management skills and can support break-fix requests promptly
  • Familiarity with network protocols, methodologies, and highly available network architectures
  • Familiarity with JunOS, Cisco iOS, or similar network CLI environments
  • Understand various network monitoring and packet capture tools
  • Can participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and be an escalation point for critical issues
  • 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer, or Equivalent role, supporting customers in a network-related environment

The range for this remote United States-based role is $100,000-$125,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus, equity grant; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
