Key Responsibilities:
- Addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs of patients.
- Administering sedation to patients prior to procedures.
- Ensuring patient recovery post-procedure.
- Dispensing necessary medications as prescribed.
- Completing essential documentation, including patient notes and discharge summaries.
- Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies required for procedures.
- Cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment before use.
- Assisting physicians during procedures.
- Administering intravenous (IV) fluids as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State nursing license.
- BLS Certification from AHA.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Experience in telemetry is required.
