Faculty Position in Advanced Endoscopy and Digestive Health

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a highly qualified faculty member to join our esteemed Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. As a leading tertiary/quaternary level academic GI & Hepatology practice, we offer a unique opportunity for a specialist in Advanced Endoscopy and/or Digestive Health to contribute to our team.

About the Position

We are looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to patient care and teaching, as well as a passion for clinical research. Our division enjoys a large robust regional referral practice in gastroenterology sub-specialties, with investments in industry-leading endoscopic technology and excellent facilities, support, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and teaching to medical students and residents
  • Contribute to clinical research opportunities through our well-staffed clinical trials section
  • Participate in academic activities, including lectures, seminars, and workshops
Requirements
  • M.D. Degree or equivalent
  • Completed Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy
  • Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
  • Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
  • Must meet all credentialing requirements
  • Eligible for Board Certification in Gastroenterology
