About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Technician to join our team at Inver Grove Ford Lincoln Mercury. As a key member of our service department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and vehicle quality.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and service advisors to provide accurate estimates and repair updates.
  • Work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a journeyman technician or equivalent in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to learn new technologies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a positive and friendly attitude.
