Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse First Assistant to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a key member of our perioperative services team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and other areas of perioperative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Function as an RN first assistant during operative and other invasive procedures and throughout the perioperative continuum in accordance with scope of practice credentials, privileges, experience, education, and competency verification.
  • Relieve OR RN and OR CST for breaks and lunch as needed, and assist with OR room turn overs and preparing OR rooms for cases.
  • Perform other duties assigned by OR leadership team.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current registered nurse licensure in state of employment.
  • Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Completion of the organization's credentialing process.
