About the Role

This position involves developing, implementing, testing, and analyzing algorithms that solve real-world problems in the areas of estimation and control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, physics, and/or mathematics combined with competent programming skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement algorithms in MATLAB or Python, with potential implementation in C++.
  • Analyze and test algorithms to ensure they meet performance and accuracy requirements.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff members to discuss and refine algorithm designs.
  • Communicate ideas and analyses through discussions, documents, and briefings.
Requirements
  • M.S./Ph.D. degree in an Engineering, Physics, or Math program.
  • Ability to prototype algorithms in MATLAB or Python (C++ a bonus).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

We offer a competitive industry pay range of $100,000 to $170,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% employer-paid medical insurance premium, HSA with employer contributions, dental and vision coverage options, company-funded 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), life and disability insurance, and paid parental leave.
