Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide systems engineering support for the design, development, integration, testing, and verification of highly complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to create specifications for components and subsystems.
  • Define hardware and software interfaces between various subsystems.
  • Develop, test, analyze, and document turret fire control algorithms.
  • Build linear and nonlinear dynamic models and simulations to assess system performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Support lab and field testing of systems and components.
  • Generate technical documentation including plans and reports.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Control Systems and Signal Processing is required.

Experience:
5 to 10 years of industry experience in systems engineering.
Strong understanding of classical and modern control system design principles.
Proficiency in signal processing and data analysis.
Hands-on experience working with the hardware and software components of electro-mechanical systems.
Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink for simulation and modeling tasks.
Familiarity with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Motivation and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
Strong work ethic with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work with U.S. export-controlled information.

Qualifications:
Master's degree with an emphasis in Control Systems and Signal Processing.
Experience with turret fire control systems design, integration, and testing.
Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink.
Strong mathematical background.
Active Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
