You will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment plans. You will perform routine maintenance on MRI equipment, troubleshooting any issues, and coordinating with technical support as needed. You will adhere to radiation safety standards and practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment and radiation dosimeters. You will provide patient care by recognizing and responding to emergency situations during imaging procedures. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

* Strong understanding of MRI imaging procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
* Proficiency with computers and radiology information systems (RIS) for accurate data entry and image management
* Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and positioning patients, operating MRI equipment, and standing for extended periods
* Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a specialization in MRI (ARRT-MR)
* Active [STATE] Radiology Technologist License in good standing
* A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Tech - MRI or in a similar role
* Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
* Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems
