As an Advanced Imaging Specialist at Integrated Resources, you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for imaging procedures and operating imaging equipment. Under the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers, you will perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare patients for imaging procedures and operate imaging equipment.
  2. Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.
  3. Utilize appropriate radiation protection measures.
  4. Adhere to organizational customer service standards and support organizational excellence initiatives.
  5. Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
  6. Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary.

Requirements:

  • One year of current clinical experience in each modality is preferred.
  • An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
  • Post-high school completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
  • Registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required.
  • Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer is required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required.

Certifications & Licenses:

  • ARRT Registered Radiographer Certification
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) Certification

Languages:

  • English (Speak, Read, Write)

Minimum Degree Required:

  • Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
