Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Docket Clerk to join our team at the Hamilton County Domestic Relations Court. As a Docket Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our court by managing dockets, scheduling hearings, and providing exceptional customer service to attorneys, litigants, and court personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of court cases, including filing and processing documents, and updating computer systems as necessary.
  • Schedule and reschedule hearings, and ensure that all necessary parties are notified in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to attorneys, litigants, and court personnel, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process incoming mail and correspondence, and ensure that all necessary actions are taken in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other court staff to ensure the efficient operation of the court, and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a court or administrative setting, with a focus on customer service and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in computer software and systems, including Microsoft Office and court-specific software.
