We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our team at SS&C. As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for a broad spectrum of financial and accounting matters affecting our Global Hedge Fund clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis: Prepare and process transactions and financial reports, exercising sound judgment regarding the proper application of accounting principles to a variety of transactions.
  • Trade Processing: Daily reconciliation of cash balances, investment positions, and market values.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with Auditors and Tax Preparers for Funds, gathering and processing corporate actions, and confirming validity of corporate actions and significant price changes with independent sources.
  • Financial Reporting: Review of accruals and expense items, calculation and recording of fees, and analytical review of daily and monthly results.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics; Master's Degree, CPA/CFA are pluses.
  • Experience: 2-5 years' experience in accounting/financial services; hedge funds experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented, team player mentality with the ability to independently manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills.
