Job Summary

Ebenezer Senior Living is seeking a skilled Float Chef/Cook to join our team. This role is responsible for filling in for chef vacancies at various Ebenezer locations, ensuring that meals are prepared and presented in accordance with applicable regulations and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Fills in for chef vacancies at various Ebenezer locations
  • Assists with special events
  • Follows standardized recipes and products to ensure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value
  • Handles and prepares food in a safe manner following policies and procedures of infection control and safety
  • Cleans and sanitizes equipment after each use or per the routine cleaning schedule
  • Ability to supervise kitchen staff

Requirements

  • Must be 18+ years old
  • ServSafe certification required within 90 days
  • 1-3 years of previous experience preferred
  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree in Food Service preferred
