Position Overview:

As a Senior API Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for enhancing and developing application components based on detailed specifications. Your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of requirements, supporting the design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of applications and interfaces. Documentation of your work is crucial.
  • Engage in various aspects of programming and application development, including file design, updates, storage, and retrieval.
  • Ensure the developed solutions are maintained effectively over time.
  • Translate user needs into technical objectives and system scope, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to understand business concepts.
  • Improve processes to address operational challenges and introduce new functionalities while considering timelines, resource limitations, process complexity, dependencies, and application architecture.
  • Adhere to existing development methodologies and coding standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance to various teams on application systems activities.
  • Work under general supervision, typically reporting to a team lead or manager.
With over 8 years of IT experience, you will analyze, design, implement, and integrate API solutions within an Agile framework. You will also be responsible for integrating systems using APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in API solutions, specifically with Apigee.

  • Expertise in Apigee for API and policy development, along with knowledge of Cassandra, Zookeeper, Node.js or reactive Java, and Nginx server.
  • Strong understanding of Web Services (SOAP and RESTful), XML, JSON processing APIs, and Microservices.
  • Proficient in Apigee edge technologies and micro gateways.
  • Experience documenting and maintaining REST API designs using Swagger, YAML, and RAML.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2 or token-based security mechanisms.
  • Proficient in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JPA, and Hibernate (ORM).
  • Experience with ESB integration layer technologies.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, AJAX, and jQuery.
  • Experience with Angular 2 and Bootstrap is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Java 8 and multithreading concepts.
  • Experience in Test Driven Development and Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Node.js, NPM, TypeScript, and SCSS.
  • Experience using source control systems like GIT or SVN.
  • Conduct performance testing and optimization.
  • Knowledge of Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and NoSQL databases like Redis and MongoDB is a plus.
  • Experience with JUnit and Log4j.
