Position Summary: The Program Specialist is essential in deploying and sustaining BlueBin's inventory management systems within healthcare environments. This position calls for a meticulous and proactive individual capable of managing various tasks and projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess robust problem-solving abilities, outstanding communication skills, and a solid grasp of Lean methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Collaboration: Engage effectively with colleagues to cultivate a collaborative work atmosphere.
  • Problem Solving: Identify challenges proactively and apply effective solutions utilizing BlueBin concepts and tools.
  • Workspace and System Management: Keep an organized workspace and possess a comprehensive understanding of the BlueBin system.
  • Rack Assembly and Installation: Accurately assemble and install racks and hardware following standard operating procedures.
  • Labeling and Inventory Management: Ensure precise labeling and efficient bin fitting for inventory.
  • System Implementation and Support: Assist with system installations and provide ongoing support and training post-installation.
  • Gemba Walks and Improvement: Conduct Gemba walks to observe processes, gather feedback, and drive improvements.
  • Engineering Space Layout: Develop accurate room layouts and create plans for space optimization.
  • Quality Control: Execute final quality checks on racks to minimize errors.
  • Technology Proficiency: Utilize BlueQ technology and Excel effectively for data management and reporting.
  • Training and Leadership: Mentor new team members and lead daily build tasks to sustain project momentum.
  • Post-Install Training: Facilitate training sessions for end users on system usage and inventory management.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Track and report inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management or supply chain operations is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, crouch, push/pull, and lift up to 35lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a healthcare setting.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods.
  • Flexibility to work during non-peak hours for implementation as necessary.
