Position Summary
The Vascular Ultrasound Technician plays a crucial role in performing neurovascular and other sonographic assessments on patients, following the directives of a physician. Ensuring patient safety is paramount at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and operate within the Ultrasound Technician scope of practice, maintaining accountability to the supervising physician.
- Prepare examination rooms and patients for ultrasound procedures; ensure ultrasound equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Conduct a thorough verification process prior to examinations to confirm the correct patient and procedure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education in Vascular Ultrasound or a related field, either completed or in progress.
- Experience with Transcranial Doppler (TCD) is advantageous.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification is preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience is required.
Employment Conditions
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Work Schedule
This position is available on a per-diem or part-time basis, with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday.
