Job Summary

Columbus McKinnon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist in documenting and improving manufacturing processes. As a Manufacturing Process Improvement Intern, you will play a key role in evaluating and optimizing existing processes, developing new systems, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and document current manufacturing processes, equipment, and parts related to assembly and machining.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance material flow, delivery, and procurement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Assist in the development of a pull system and supermarket for assembly.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a program to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Available full-time from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025.
  • Ability to travel at the start and end of the internship.
  • Authorization to work in the United States required.
