We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Tri-City Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting Pharmacists and the Department of Pharmacy in ordering, preparing, and distributing medications.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Pharmacists in ordering, preparing, and distributing medications
- Prepare IV additives and solutions using aseptic technique
- Order and restock supplies, maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy environment
- Fill routine Pyxis loads accurately and in a timely manner
- Operate pharmacy computer systems efficiently
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment, adhering to unit-based safety and infection control requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- California Pharmacy Technician License
- Preferred experience in hospital pharmacy, Pyxis med station, and CII Safe
- Computer skills and IV sterile technique competency
