Automotive Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our retail and installer customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide prompt and courteous service to customers, assisting them in selecting merchandise and resolving any issues.
- Support store management in achieving assigned tasks and goals.
- Follow and promote all company customer service programs, including Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, and Rock the Call.
- Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
- Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
- Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform various daily operational tasks, including preparing new, core, and warranty merchandise returns for shipment to the distribution center.
- Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed and company requirements are met.
- Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
- Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service is desired.
- ASE certification is a plus.
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is highly desired.
