As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of guest accommodations and public areas. Your role is vital in ensuring that our quality standards are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms and common areas post-cleaning to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Generate reports on room occupancy, verify the status of rooms, and prioritize cleaning tasks accordingly.
- Collaborate with management to streamline daily operations and coordinate efforts across departments including Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
- Document and address any discrepancies in room status with the Front Desk.
- Prepare and communicate changes in room assignments effectively.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of housekeeping staff.
- Maintain compliance with safety and security protocols, reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Ensure a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Engage with guests in a courteous manner, anticipating their needs and providing assistance as required.
- Foster positive relationships with team members and respond to their concerns appropriately.
- Adhere to quality expectations and standards at all times.
- Physically manage housekeeping equipment and supplies, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Utilize technology to enter and retrieve work-related information efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role with supervisory responsibilities.
- Certifications: None required.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is between $24.72 and $30.90 per hour, inclusive of comprehensive health care benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and additional wellness benefits.
