Mammography Technologist Job Description

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Mammography Imaging: Screen patients for any precautions or contradictions, explain procedures, and position patients for imaging.
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform routine and advanced Mammography imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, utilizing dose reduction techniques as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and disinfect equipment after each use, and maintain an orderly and clean work area.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Mammography Department Support: Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual, monitor medical supply inventory, and request supplies as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Mammography imaging procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
