Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mammography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. They will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care and support during mammography procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Image Acquisition: Operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images, adhering to professional standards and protocols.
  • Quality Control: Maintain equipment in good working order, ensuring proper function and optimal image quality.
  • Documentation: Accurately maintain patient records and imaging protocols, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in mammography or related field; ARRT certification in mammography required.

Work Environment: This is a part-time, temp/PRN position with varying hours, primarily during day shifts.
