Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits Professional

Rittal LLC is a leader in industrial and IT enclosures, racks, and accessories. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits to drive the design, implementation, and administration of our rewards programs, policies, and procedures.
Job Summary: The Senior Manager, Compensation and Benefits will lead the Total Rewards and Payroll team, including hiring, training, and people management. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Human Resources and manages a team of 3 across compensation, benefits, and payroll.Responsibilities:- Lead and develop the Total Rewards and Payroll team, including hiring, training, coaching, and people management.
- Support the development of Rittal's Total Rewards strategy and contribute to the design and review of benefit and other compensation-related programs.
- Partner closely with Talent Management, Recruitment, and HR Business/People Partnering and Global HR Leadership.
- Drive the organization's Wellness programs and adoption.
- Oversee payroll operations and deliver accurate and on-time biweekly payrolls for salaried, hourly, and commissioned employee groups.
- Oversee day-to-day total rewards operations, including compensation-related reporting, analysis, job evaluation, annual compensation cycle, and pay equity exercises.
- Ensure compliance with all related federal/provincial legislation and internal policies and procedures as they relate to payroll services.
- Govern and evaluate current related forms, systems, processes, and workflows, and identify, research, recommend, and implement new or enhanced policies, procedures, and processes to improve operational effectiveness.
- Identify and monitor related risk, develop and document various controls and systems to ensure activities are completed accurately and in compliance with associated regulations, legislation, and internal standards.
- Identify, test, and implement updated systems or processes to automate payroll-related functions where possible.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years' of full-time experience working in a global manufacturing environment with salaried, hourly, and commissioned employee groups.
- Minimum 2 years' of experience leading or providing full scope Total Rewards services with people management experience.
- Strong payroll systems experience.
- Experience with job evaluation tools and methodologies.
- Experience in mergers/acquisitions, payroll system integrations, and conversions.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently while exercising mature judgment, leadership influence, and decision-making skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint with the ability to produce high-quality, user-friendly reports and presentations.
- Excellent active listening, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
- Strong planning, prioritization, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple, competing tasks and priorities.
- Possesses a continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated experience in process improvements and delivering business efficiencies.
- Ability to quickly deliver solutions that meet the needs of a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment with tact and diplomacy.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism with the demonstrated ability to ensure confidentiality and protection of employee data and other sensitive information.
