We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Zeeland Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services department.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation, delivery, and clean-up of patient care during the intra-operative phase.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the unit by obtaining and organizing necessary equipment, sterile supplies, and instruments for each surgical case.
- Assemble surgical supplies for rooms and case tables, and open sterile supplies for surgical procedures.
- Clean equipment, including decontamination and sterilization of instruments, work areas, and reusable supplies, and return unneeded equipment to the appropriate department.
- Follow up on equipment needing repairs.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate's degree or equivalent completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc) is required. Or 1 year of equivalent experience.
- 1 year of relevant experience. 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience (clinical rotations do not count as experience) is preferred.
- BLS from AHA or ARC required within 90 days.
