Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Helper to support our welding team. The successful candidate will assist welders in various tasks to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist welders in setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment
  • Prepare materials for welding by cleaning or cutting using tools such as plasma cutters
  • Transport materials and equipment using forklifts or other machinery
  • Support welders in rigging and moving heavy materials
  • Perform basic welding tasks under supervision
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

  • Experience or familiarity with ductwork, hand tools, sheet metal, and machining
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to assist in welding processes
  • Proficiency in using tools for cutting, rigging, and welding
  • Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with the welding team
