About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Affordable Housing Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Related Affordable. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the company to residents, employees, and agency partners, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Assist in leading day-to-day property operations, ensuring financial targets and compliance standards are met.
  • Support the leasing team, conduct leasing and move-in activities, and manage the re-certification process.
  • Conduct unit inspections to ensure compliance with applicable program standards and utilize the property management system to oversee all resident transactions.
  • Issue and deliver resident notices, collect rents, and oversee building staff as manager-on-duty.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in managing affordable housing properties with HUD Project-Based Section 8 and Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) required.
  • Experience with RealPage OneSite is a plus.
  • Driver's license and reliable method of transportation required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
