Pediatric Psychiatrist Leadership Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the clinical quality of our Pediatric Psychiatry & psychotherapy services, ensuring exceptional patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and manage effective budget plans, including proactive budgeting, remediation, and capital planning to drive business growth.
  • Strategically plan for our Outpatient Behavioral Health Services (OP BHS), aligning with organizational goals and objectives.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the quality of Pediatric Clinical Services, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Develop and implement Pediatric Clinical Programming, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and patient needs.
  • Lead the recruitment, retention, and management of provider leader direct reports, fostering a high-performing team.
  • Determine minimum requirements for hire, enforce policies, and validate licensure to ensure a qualified workforce.
  • Manage metrics, analyzing data to develop effective action plans and drive performance improvement.
  • Identify cross-site trends and opportunities, developing and implementing departmental standards to drive consistency and excellence.
  • Develop and manage effective continuing education requirements and service/performance expectations for OP BHS providers.
  • Resolve patient complaints and clinical service recovery, ensuring exceptional patient experience.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace culture, partnering with other team members to promote employee engagement and well-being.

Contributions:

  • Partner with the OP Group Practice Director and OP Adult Medical Director to identify opportunities for service improvement, quality enhancement, and financial performance.
  • Provide input and expertise to supervising providers for assessing BHS OP provider performance and quality/audits.
  • Meet with key external stakeholders to ensure service goals and expectations are clear, performance is measured, and performance deficiencies are addressed in a timely manner.
