Join Our Team as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team as a moonlighter. As a member of our inpatient mental health program, you will work with a multi-disciplinary care team to provide high-quality care to children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychiatric care to patients aged 6-18 years old
  • Participate in on-call rotations, reviewing admissions and responding to pages from nursing staff
  • Conduct weekend rounds, prioritizing admissions, discharges, and patients with defined needs
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement treatment plans
Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Current Minnesota Medical License or ability to obtain one
  • Board certification in Pediatrics or Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
