Job Description

Broadcom is seeking a highly skilled Digital IC Design Engineer to join our Data Center Solutions Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, high-performance RTL code in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog format.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze high-level architecture specifications and create interactive authoring and/or review documents.
  • Generate electronic design specifications, including micro-architecture development.
  • Implement high-quality RTL code from design specifications, including areas such as asynchronous clock domain crossings, multiple power domains, low-power design, and integrating third-party IP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Verification, Firmware, and Systems Engineering, to deliver detailed testing strategies and usage models.
  • Document RTL code and verification environment to reflect functionality.
  • Design logic related to NVMe and PCIe specifications, as well as general datapath function coding.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 12+ years of related experience or MSEE degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 10+ years of related experience.
  • Digital design product development experience.
  • Expertise with tools and methodologies used in digital design and verification.
  • Proven teamwork and leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with NVMe and PCIe is a plus.
