Job Summary

Lion Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead the team at our multifamily apartment community located in the Sun Belt region. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the overall supervision and performance of the community, ensuring maximum occupancy levels, property value, income, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff members to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the daily workflow of the community, including maintenance services, and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performance Evaluations: Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations in accordance with company policy.
  • Discipline and Termination: Handle discipline and termination of associates in accordance with company policy.
Essential Functions
  1. Record Keeping: Ensure and maintain accurate, up-to-date records, including rent rolls, delinquency reports, rental status, move-in & move-out schedule, etc., and enter data into Yardi system.
  2. Community Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations at the community, including maintenance services.
  3. Communication: Maintain day-to-day communications with Supervisor and ensure timely submission of resident notices.
  4. Financial Management: Complete various daily and month-end reports, including collection of rent, administration of late fees, and delinquency.
  5. Resident Satisfaction: Assist with monitoring resident satisfaction through follow-up calls, emails, or meetings to ensure a positive living experience.
  6. Physical Property Maintenance: Help ensure the physical well-being and curb appeal of the apartment community.
  7. Occupancy Management: Establish and maintain the best possible occupancy of the apartment community and lease apartments as needed.
  8. Marketing: Assist in eliminating lost revenues due to vacancies by executing timely turnover and adhering to traditional and creative marketing protocols to lease apartments.
  9. Compliance: Maintain annual fair housing certification (via Gracehill).
  10. Attendance and Performance: Maintain regular and consistent attendance according to required work schedule decided by the Company and provide exemplary customer service to residents, prospects, and guests.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3+ years multifamily property management experience and 1+ years prior experience in Community Manager role.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and Yardi or similar property management software.
