Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Gather and report patient information and data.">
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing, dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility, and ambulation.">
  • Patient transport.">
  • Collecting specimens.">
  • Distributing linens and supplies to patient rooms.">
  • Delivering ice and beverages to patients.">
  • Monitoring patient safety as assigned.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from a Connecticut-approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred or in progress of earning a BA in Nursing or Health Sciences with at least one clinical completed or significant previous healthcare-related experience.">
  • Certification: BLS certification required.">
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant with ortho experience in an acute care setting preferred.">
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check.">
