Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Radiology Technician is to prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, produce high-quality x-ray films, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, including positioning and instructing them on the necessary procedures.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted professional guidelines.
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and patients.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
