Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at The Vascular Care Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating vascular patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare exam rooms and equipment to conduct radiologic examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
  • Conduct patient clinical assessments and perform diagnostic medical examinations ordered by supervising physicians.
  • Utilize radiographic equipment to perform x-rays, including surgical and portable equipment.
  • Identify anatomical orientation on required images and ensure proper file identification.
  • Apply independent judgment during examinations to ensure accurate capture of anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions.
  • Identify and document any examination limitations.
  • Review examination images, synthesize results, and prepare preliminary findings.
  • Assist as surgical technicians in procedures as needed.
  • Perform quality control procedures to ensure equipment operates at optimal levels and manage preventive maintenance programs.
  • Assist in prioritizing assigned work based on workflow fluctuations.
  • Provide detailed and accurate procedure information for collection in databases and maintain an understanding of data collection purposes.
  • Perform procedures in compliance with Standards of Care, facility, and regulatory requirements, and ARRT Standards of Ethics.
  • Maintain quality standards as it relates to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine preferred.
  • ARRT certified.
  • 1-4 years of experience in general radiologic technology preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and employees within the organization.
  • Willingness to be available for local and/or regional assignments as needed.
  • Ability to adequately use the department's computerized system and its associated devices.
