Position Summary

The Healthcare Customer Service Representative embodies the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Memorial Healthcare, adhering to our Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program while complying with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Working under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager/Coordinator, this role involves welcoming patients, coordinating appointment schedules, handling various administrative tasks related to the medical practice, and serving as a communication bridge between patients and the practice.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a physician's office
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of medical office coding
  • Prior experience in customer service
