Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Evening Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests and oversee all facets of their stay. Experience with Hilton's OnQ system is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests warmly with a friendly demeanor, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their requests.
  • Facilitate the registration process by accurately entering and retrieving information from our computer system, confirming details such as guest count and room rates.
  • Process credit card authorizations and manage cash transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial dealings.
  • Respond promptly to phone inquiries, documenting messages and relaying them to guests as needed.
  • Conclude guest accounts at checkout, addressing any concerns and striving for guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints with thorough research to provide effective solutions, maintaining composure during busy periods.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front office area, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
  • Assist fellow Front Desk staff as required and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills:
  • Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel environment.
  • At least one year of experience with hotel reservation software, preferably OnQ or PEP.
  • Strong customer service orientation and reliable attendance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in using a moderately complex computer system for data entry and retrieval.
