Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with radiation oncologists to deliver precise radiation dosages to targeted areas.
  • Utilize advanced technology, including simulators and CAT scans, to localize treatment volumes.
  • Analyze patient data and create customized treatment plans using dedicated planning computers.
  • Provide clear explanations to patients regarding treatment procedures and protocols.
  • Position patients on treatment couches and identify surface bones to ensure accurate radiation beam placement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiation therapy - Required
  • Detailed knowledge of radiation oncology techniques, oncologic pathology, anatomy, and physiology - Required
  • ARRT certification - Required
  • Kentucky License - Required
  • Experience with Epic and Mosaiq systems - Highly Preferred
