Job Title: Senior Manager of Parts, Materials, and Processes

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager of Parts, Materials, and Processes to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of parts, materials, and processes for our Sentinel program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define operational strategies by working with program management and technical leaders on special projects.
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for change and champion changes within the PM&P organization.
  • Navigate ambiguity and develop a systemic approach and strategy to address and solve problems.
  • Build relationships and effectively communicate to influence and ensure accountability across a network of stakeholders.
  • Act with a sense of urgency and accountability. Take ownership of tasks and strategic direction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of experience; Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience.
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management position and experience directing multiple teams, with demonstrated ability to coach mid-level managers and individual contributors.
  • Experience in Parts, Materials and Processes (PM&P) type work on large military programs or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools.
  • Experience with MIL-STD-11991 and/or MIL-STD-1568.
  • Experience in Materials selection and qualification for missiles or space environments.
  • IBM Rationale DOORS software experience.
  • Experience managing cost, schedule and performance of large government technical statements of work.
  • Experience with Agile Processes/Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira and Confluence).
  • Experience with MS Project.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills of the English language is desired.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
