About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Aspen Dental. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the needs of our patients and doctors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, including taking dental x-rays, setting up and breaking down operatory post-treatment, and executing patient handoffs and monitoring patient flow within the practice.
  • Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
  • Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns, perform quality impressions and bite registrations, and support patient charting for doctors.
  • Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction and perform various office tasks as necessary.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required.
