Mechanical Assembly Technician

Position Summary: We are in search of a Mechanical Assembly Technician who possesses a strong background in assembling electro-mechanical components and executing various intermediate assembly tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and other related products or systems with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Interpret work orders and adhere to verbal instructions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in soldering components such as resistors, diodes, capacitors, and sockets.
- Knowledgeable in connecting component lead wires to printed circuits or routing wires between components.
Job Duties:
- Secure parts in place using various methods including crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, and press fitting.
- Position and align components accurately using jigs or fixtures.
- Attach hardware such as nuts, bolts, retaining rings, and switches to assemblies.
- Conduct intermediate tasks including potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding components.
- Operate machines that weld, leak-check, and backfill press shape or wind component parts.
- Adjust or trim materials from components to meet specified electrical or dimensional standards.
- Perform online go-no-go testing and inspections to ensure compliance with production specifications.
Compensation: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
