All applicants, including those with a commercial driver's license, will start as a Driver in Training. We invest heavily in the training and development of our drivers to ensure they are among the best in the industry.

Training Program: The Driver in Training will receive instruction from our experienced staff to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) and any necessary endorsements. Upon successful completion of the training and meeting all requirements, you will transition into a Professional Driver role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a school bus or designated vehicle along established routes.
  • Arrive on time and maintain a punctual schedule while prioritizing safety.
  • Assist passengers during emergencies and ensure their safe evacuation.
  • Report any incidents or accidents in accordance with company policy.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding student and passenger management.
  • Communicate effectively with relevant personnel regarding any issues.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and passengers.
  • Utilize vehicle equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old; 25 years for specific state regulations.
  • Possess or be able to obtain all required state licenses and certifications.
  • Meet physical and medical standards and pass substance abuse screenings.
  • Successfully complete all training requirements.
  • Practice defensive driving and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
