Job Summary:

The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for operating a shuttle bus, greeting passengers, and providing assistance with loading and unloading. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, 3 years of driving experience, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a shuttle bus safely and efficiently
  • Greet passengers and provide assistance with loading and unloading
  • Monitor vehicle condition and report any issues
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other employees using a two-way radio system
  • Conduct pre/post trip inspections of the shuttle bus
  • Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notify dispatch or supervisor as needed
  • Report accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor
  • Treat all customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner

Requirements:
  • Valid CDL
  • 3 years of driving experience
  • Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
  • Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Energetic, outgoing, and able to stand, run, and carry items up to 50lbs if needed
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way

The physical demands of this position and the work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position. Physical Demands: as part of performing the duties associated with this position, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.
