In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care on our 23-bed Stepdown unit, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in PCU care, particularly with cardiac gtts and telemetry, will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver evidence-based care to patients with complex medical needs, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, ensuring timely communication with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices that enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in PCU or stepdown nursing, with a strong background in cardiac care.
  • Current licensure as an RN in the state of KY.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building collaborative relationships with colleagues and patients.
