Job Opportunity

BURNCO LLC is seeking an experienced Mixer Driver to join our team at the Kiowa Plant. As a key member of our Ready Mix division, you will be responsible for operating a ready-mix truck in urban areas and tight construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Understand and promote a safety culture
  • Drive and obey all traffic laws
  • Perform truck maintenance and housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
  • Clean driver's abstract and record
  • Concrete mixer truck experience an asset
  • Understanding of concrete products
  • Standard or manual transmission experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Pass pre-employment testing

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly exposed to various weather conditions
  • Constantly uses eye/hand coordination and near/far vision
  • Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, bends, reaches, lifts up to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs
  • Exposed to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smokes, gasses, fumes, and aggregate materials
