Medical Practitioner Leader

Deliver exceptional patient care as a Medical Practitioner Leader at Central Maine Healthcare. This role involves assessing health status, developing interventions, and collaborating with the clinical team to evaluate patient responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a champion of patient experience.
- Engage patients with exceptional customer service practices.
- Perform physical examinations and document patient visits in electronic medical records.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and order diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
- Provide patient education and counseling.
- Make referrals to other healthcare professionals and community agencies.
- Participate in quality improvement processes.
Salary Estimate:
The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
Requirements:
- Unencumbered license to practice medicine in Maine.
- Graduate of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
- DOT Medical Exam Certification within 6 months of hire.
