We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist II to join our team at Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. As a Physical Therapist II, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing the therapy plan of care for a broad range of diagnoses and acuities.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to identify their level of function and determine the treatment plan
- Develop and implement the physical therapy treatment plan
- Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers based on learning needs
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to modify the treatment plan, progress, and discharge planning
- Advocate on behalf of patients and families to identify and resolve clinical and ethical concerns
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s)
- Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist; or completion of HM or comparable Physical Therapy Residency program
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) AND PT - Physical Therapist - State Licensure -- with the Texas Board of Examiners
