Job Title: Broadcast Specialist

Pay Rate: up to $25/hr. on W2

Job Description:

The eTeam is seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Experiences & Production team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing live broadcasts and creating social media content.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute live broadcasts, including gaming tournaments, contests, community game nights, and promotional content.
  • Operate and maintain multiple facets of our productions in our Las Vegas studio, including livestreaming software, audio mixing, camera/video feeds, and inserting live graphics.
  • Support other aspects of our productions, including light video editing and design, capturing in-game photos and videos for promotional material, and collaborating with team members to develop run of show documents, tech plans, and asset lists.
  • Communicate with on-site talent, remote guests, and external partners throughout the process of building and executing a program.
Key Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of livestreaming software, including vMix and OBS.
  • Ability to plan, prepare, and execute live streamed gaming events.
  • Proven experience as a vMix Operator, preferably within a gaming environment.
  • Experience with studio upkeep and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to develop and maintain an ongoing production calendar.
  • Familiarity with developing content creation and identifying trends.
  • Passion and understanding for the gaming and creator community.
  • Familiarity with social gaming activities and esports events.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work with a team.
  • Flexible Schedule - Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or alternative time zones.
Preferred Skills:
  • Technical proficiency with elements related to livestream software (NDI, RTMP, SRT, Dante, and remote feeds).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, etc).
  • Experience with content creation platforms (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc).
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis, with the ability to extract meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills particularly related to broadcast software and hardware.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite software.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience preferred.
